In a move to bolster its performance, Cebu Normal University has announced several key appointments for leadership roles of faculty members from its College of Nursing. The announcement builds on the recent transition with the appointment of a new university president, Dr. Filomena Dayagbil who hails from the College of Education.
Daisy Palompon, RN, Ph.D, DSN has been named Vice President for Academic Affairs while Laurence Garcia, RN, DSN will have the oversight of the institutional research with his appointment as Director of Research. Likewise, Jezyl Cutamora, RN, Ph.D has taken charged as the dean of the College of Nursing.
Moreover, Marylou Ong, RN, DM, DSN handled the training portfolio as the presidential assistant for training while Aida Inabangan, RN, MAN leads the division as Director of Income Generating Projects.
The ertswhile university president was Marcelo Lopez, RN, Ed.D, DPA who recently retired from the service. He was instrumental in the institution's phenomenal successes in recent years.
