Dr. Cindy Leigh spoke recently at the 4th Balik Scientist Program Annual Convention held on 26 October 20181 December 2017 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City. She highlighted her academic collaboration including mentoring and research initiatives with her host institution, De La Salle University Dasmarinas
Cindy is currently affiliated with the Australian Catholic University as an honorary fellow. Recently, she is connected with the Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network and the Nursing for Humanity, both based in Sydney, Australia.
She is by far one of the 3 nurses who were recipients of Balik Scientist program.
With the theme “Balik Scientists: Catalysts for Global Innovation and Competitiveness,” the event served as a venue to celebrate important milestones for the program.
