The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) announced that its regional governor of Cordillera Administrative Region has been elected President of the 2017 PNA Board of Directors.Tingda has been a member of the Baguio chapter for many years and has represented the PNA CAR in the mid 2000's. Previously, she was the dean of College of Nursing of the Cordillera Career Development College in La Trinidad Benguet. She is also an active member of the Philippine Nursing Research Society.
Other national officers elected along with her are: Dr. Elsie A. Tee (Region XI) as Chairperson; Gov. Merle L. Salvani (Region VI) as Corporate Secretary; Gov. Elizabeth C. Lagrito (Region X) as VP for Programs and Development; Gov. Elnora O. Argota (Region VIII) as VP for Finance, and Gov. Yolanda T. Canaria (NCR Zone 6) as Treasurer.
